SQUARE CIRCLE®
A
new concept consisting of design and technique for ‘squaring
the circle’
Having developed this watch for many years, I can
now present it to you as a hand made piece of my creativity.
I succeeded in compressing the hypotrochoid gearing, which
is my own patented development, into the size of a wrist
watch. The hour indicator runs in a mysterious way as a blue
dot of sapphire (cabochon) on a square course without being
visibly connected to the centre. Animation
Apart from the fascinating technology the geometrical basic
forms of ‘square’ and ‘circle’ are
also brought into the design of the watch. Inspired by the
Art Déco style I designed an unusual wrist watch,
which has its special appeal through the combination of linear
and circular elements.
